One food that I seem to eat a lot more of as an adult than I did as a child is cereal.
Strange, right?
I grew up in a household where cereal was always around, and I could pretty much choose any kind I wanted for breakfast. My favorite was (and still is) Fruity PEBBLES™. In fact, if you’ve been hanging around you long enough, you might remember these donuts or that milkshake.
I loved slurping up a bowl in the mornings, and even had it as an after-school snack at times. But, cereal didn’t stop being apart of my meal routine as I got older.

As soon as I got home, I whipped up this Apple Cinnamon Smoothie Bowl. Not only is it fresh and flavorful, but it makes the most delicious breakfast, snack, or even dessert!

Apple Cinnamon Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 banana sliced and frozen
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- ½ cup milk any kind
- ⅔ cup unsweetened applesauce
- ¼ cup Cinnamon PEBBLES™ or other cereal of choice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
Toppings
- Cinnamon Pebbles
- Sliced apples
- Granola
- Chia seeds
Instructions
- In the canister of a blender, combine the banana, yogurt, milk, applesauce, Cinnamon PEBBLES™, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Blend until reaches desired consistency.
- Pour into a medium-sized bowl and sprinkle with toppings.
