How about a little wine to start your day?

It’s no secret that I love wine. Sweet wines. While I’m getting slightly more accustomed to Merlot and Cabernet, dry wines are still not my favorite. Which is why I love Moscato, Riesling, and my all-time favorite, a sweet red wine from the best winery around.

I’ve talked about it before, I’ve shared a few cocktail recipes, and the hubster and I are even a part of a sweet wine club at our favorite restaurant and winery.

If you’re looking for a bottle of wine, you can find at least ten (or more) on our wine rack. See, we adore wine, but we don’t drink it as much as we should. And I don’t mean guzzling down a bottle a day. But, we’re lucky if we crack open a bottle once or twice a month. Sometimes beer just wins over wine (hello, summer shandy and blue moon…have you tried their peach ale? Delish!)!

And that’s why I’m sharing these Berry Cherry Wine Slushies with you today. It’s a deliciously sweet way to cool down on a hot summer day and it’s perfect to use up some of that wine that you might have sitting around.

Did you catch that? These wine slushies contain just three ingredients…three! I’m hesitant to even call this a recipe because of how easy it is, but, let me tell you…this is good. SO good! And refreshing. Give me a straw, point me to the pool, and I’m set for the day.

I used Riesling in this drink, but feel free to use whatever you have on-hand. The sweetness from the blueberries and cherries will make even the driest of wine just a little bit fruitier. And we could all use a little fruitiness in life, right?

One sip and you’ll be hooked on these Berry Cherry Wine Slushies! Blended to perfection and bursting with just the right amount of flavor, you really can’t get much easier than this. The tartness from the cherries and sweetness of the blueberries pair perfect with Riesling.

Cool, refreshing, and oh-so good…this is the ultimate frozen cocktail for the summer! Serve it for holidays, get-togethers, or lazy days by the pool. I guarantee once you try this, you’ll be coming back for more!

Wine in a slushy? I can just imagine how refreshing these would be on a hot summer day and they would go down very well with my friends at a party. Sadly I will just have to imagine for the next few months.

I love red wine, but I do the occasional beer because when it’s hot, red wine doesn’t really hit the spot. I love Summer Shandy and I’ve not tried the Blue Moon Peach Ale — I need that! This slushy looks so good right now, and I love how easy it is! That berry-cherry combo sounds like a winner, and this would work with my red wine too. This looks so refreshing and pretty!
