Light, fluffy, and bursting with a creamy fruit center, these Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers are perfect for breakfast, a mid-morning snack, or dessert!

There are days where I feel like baking everything from scratch, and then there are other times when I want to cheat just a little bit!

I love being in my kitchen and cooking up a storm, but sometimes I need a little help from tried and true favorites. You know, the pre-made pizza dough, frozen fruit, or a boxed cake mix. And since I’m all about easy recipes that taste like you spent all day slaving away, I need to have a few shortcuts every now and then. Agreed?

Now that we got that out of the way, let me introduce you to these Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers. Light, fluffy, and bursting with a creamy fruit center, these turnovers are the perfect treat for breakfast, a mid-morning snack, or dessert.

The center of these Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers contain a mixture of sweetened cream cheese and mixed berries, which pairs perfectly with the flaky, buttery biscuit.

And because I made these cuties using a premade biscuit dough, they were easy to whip up and ready in minutes when I wanted something tasty to munch on. See, I told you shortcuts are worth it every now and then!

And let’s not forget about that drizzle of icing on top!

Made with just two ingredients, it’s the perfect addition to these mouthwatering turnovers, giving it just a touch of extra sweetness. Of course, you could always skip the icing, but I wouldn’t recommend that. These little guys are way better with lots and lots of icing, and I won’t tell if you sneak a spoonful (or three)!

So I know you’re not surprised when I tell you that these Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers take just minutes to assemble, right?

Remember, that’s the name of my game! To start, you’ll cream together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Gently fold in some frozen, mixed berries and set aside.

Next, you’ll use a can of premade biscuit dough and separate each one. From there, flatten each biscuit to almost double the size. Place about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese biscuit in the center. Take one end of the biscuit and fold it over, creating a triangle. Use a fork to pinch the edges together, if needed. Repeat with the rest of the biscuits and then pop these babies into the oven.

While the Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers are baking, it’s time to prepare the icing. Simply stir together some powdered sugar and milk until well combined. You want to drizzle the turnovers when they’re still warm, which makes this treat oh-so delicious and decadent!

Once these Berry Cream Cheese Turnovers are ready, be prepared to fall in love.

The flaky biscuit and creamy fruit filling are the perfect match for one other. The cream cheese and berries are light and sweet, giving you a burst of delicious flavor. This treat is perfect for breakfast alongside your morning coffee or as a tasty afternoon snack. And these babies are even better reheated in the microwave for a few seconds, restoring the soft and creamy center!
