This Blueberry Blast Smoothie is jam-packed with flavor and adds the nutritious punch of antioxidants and protein!
First I made you some berry turnovers and now I’m shoving this blueberry smoothie in your face.
I guess it’s safe to say that once I get on a fruit kick, I really stick with it! I’m done with my strawberry desserts for the time being (but don’t worry, I’ll be baking with them again very soon), so it’s only natural that I move onto another berry fruit.
Not only do I love blueberries because of the health benefits (full of antioxidants), but I also love the pretty purple color that forms when baked into desserts or made into a smoothie. And purple just happens to be my favorite color, so this fruit is perfect for me! But in all seriousness, blueberries are a superfood and I’ve been trying to sneak them into my diet whenever I can.
And because I love any kind of fruit smoothie, I’ve made it my mission to create one filled with lots of blueberries. And friends, this Blueberry Blast Smoothie is jam-packed with flavor and adds the nutritious punch of antioxidants and protein.
Filled with juicy blueberries, a ripe banana and creamy yogurt, this smoothie is delicious and nutritious. It’s perfect for a quick breakfast or as a mid-morning snack to keep you full and satisfied.
And if you’re anything like me, smoothies are the way to go. I love how easy and full of flavor they are, not to mention how good I feel after drinking one.
And the best part about this Blueberry Blast Smoothie is that it takes just minutes to whip up! You can even prepare everything days in advance and then freeze so that you have a smoothie on-hand whenever the craving strikes.
To make this Blueberry Blast Smoothie, I used frozen blueberries, a frozen banana, blueberry yogurt, and milk. The blueberry yogurts gives this drink extra flavor and the banana gives it some sweetness.
Just blend all of the ingredients together and your pretty purple smoothie is ready to drink.
So the next time you’re in the mood for a healthy smoothie, grab that blender and whip up this creamy and dreamy Blueberry Blast Smoothie! Fast, east, and bursting with blueberries, this will be your new favorite drink!
