Smoothies are the name of my game and that’s what we’re talking about today!

Come spring, summer, winter or fall, I love to whip up a combination of healthy ingredients to keep me full and satisfied all day long. And when the warmer weather hits, I crave smoothies even more.

And one of my favorite things about smoothies is how versatile they are. From this Strawberry Peach Smoothie to this Raspberry Lime Smoothie, I’ve tried some unique (and delicious) flavor combinations.

I love to challenge myself and look for new and refreshing ways to create this drink, and I’ve got another winner for you today!

We all know how decadent chocolate covered cherries taste, but when you add those flavors into this Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie, prepare to be wowed. The frozen cherries and cocoa powder combine to create the perfect blend of tart and sweet, while the yogurt and almond milk give it a protein boost.

One sip of this Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie and you’ll forget that it’s secretly healthy! And that definitely makes for the best kind of smoothie.

This Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie combines frozen cherries, creamy yogurt, and a hint of chocolate that serves as the perfect breakfast, mid-morning snack, or post workout treat!

Like most of my recipes, this smoothie is a breeze to whip up! Simply combine the frozen cherries, yogurt, milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup into a blender. Mix until it reaches your desired consistence and then pour into a glass and enjoy.

This healthy drink serves as a protein-packed breakfast or snack, which will keep you on the healthy track all day long.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen pitted cherries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup Almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
  • Ice cubes to thicken if desired

Instructions

  • In the canister of a blender, combine the cherries, yogurt, milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup. Blend until reaches desired consistency.
  • Pour into two tall glasses and serve immediately.

    I just know I will want this smoothie every day once I try it. Chocolate covered cherries are a favorite of mine but I try not to eat them too often. A chocolate covered cherry smoothie is a great alternative!

    My work out right now consists of packing boxes (lots and LOTS of seemingly endless boxes) and I NEED a pick me up. This is perfection (sub white chocolate powder for cocoa-->I'm allergic). This smoothie is sooo pretty and sounds delicious! The perfect drink to suck down and keep you moving... in my case literally!
