bites on a white plate

These Cranberry Brie Bites contain just four ingredients and can be prepped and ready to be devoured in less than 20 minutes. This easy appetizer is sweet, savory, and perfect for entertaining during the holiday season!

Cranberry brie bites on a stack of white plates.

I swear I’m not going to be one of those people who talks about their kids dog all the time, but I just have to share…

I bought Callie a ‘Mrs. Claus’ dress to wear for Christmas! Too much?

Maybe…I first bought her a Christmas collar, complete with bells and gold bows. Callie wore it for her Christmas picture and didn’t mind it one bit. But, when I went into the pet store a few weeks ago, I just couldn’t pass up the little Christmas outfits they had. Since the hubster and I are taking her to my family’s house on Christmas, I wanted to be sure she was dressed to impress!

We’ll see how she takes it! I haven’t tried the dress on Callie yet, but I’m thinking she’ll be the cutest one prancing around on Christmas, don’t ya think?

And speaking of Christmas, do you have your holiday menus planned? Maybe it’s your job to host, or to just bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert.

I’m bringing an appetizer and — you guessed it! — it’s these easy and oh-so delicious Cranberry Brie Bites! Now, I know these are nothing new. I’ve seen about a million versions of these floating around in Pinterest land, but I just had to try them for myself. And to put my own spin on them, of course!

Ingredients for Cranberry Brie Bites

These Cranberry Brie Bites contain just four ingredients and can be prepped and ready to be devoured in less than 20 minutes. This easy appetizer is sweet, savory, and perfect for entertaining during the holiday season!

Here’s what you’ll need to make the brie bites with cranberry:

  • Mini phyllo cups
  • Brie cheese
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Fresh mint leaves

Just four ingredients…four! That’s all it takes to make this irresistibly crunch, melty, creamy, and sweet appetizer that’s packed with a punch of flavor.

How to Make Cranberry Brie Bites

If you’ve been hanging around here long enough, you know that I’m all about the simple recipes. Especially when it comes to the holidays. And these Cranberry Brie Bites couldn’t get an easier. Trust me.

  1. Place phyllo cups in an even layer onto a medium baking pan.
  2. Place one cube of diced brie into each cup.
  3. Bake cups until brie is melted, for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and spoon cranberry sauce over each cup.
  5. Top with fresh mint leaves.

Can This Recipe Be Made in Advance?

No, once you’ve assembled and baked this cranberry brie appetizer it needs to be served immediately. However, you can prepare the cranberry sauce days in advance, if you’re making it from scratch.

Can This Recipe Be Made Gluten-Free?

Yes, simply buy gluten-free phyllo cups at the store. Or, if you can’t find gluten-free pre-made phyllo cups, you can always buy sheets of gluten-free phyllo at the store and create your own cups using mini muffin tins.

What to Serve with Cranberry Brie Bites

These brie and cranberry bites are the perfect appetizer for any holiday party or dinner. Here are some holiday recipes that pair nicely with the brie bites:

  • Butter Egg Noodles and Peas
  • Pumpkin Mac and Cheese
  • Savory Roasted Sweet Potatoes
  • Chicken Broccoli Stuffing Casserole
  • Slow Cooker Pork Loin

Tips for Making Brie and Cranberry Bites

  • Homemade cranberry sauce is best in this recipe, but canned works just as well if you’re in a rush. Use whatever you have on hand!
  • You’ll need to dice the wheel of brie cheese into roughly 1-teaspoon pieces to create the brie bites.
  • Don’t skip the addition of mint. While you could, and these babies would still be delicious, it adds an extra touch of sweetness, plus a pretty pop of color, too!

So, if you’re in need of an easy appetizer that is sure to impress those hungry holiday guests, you’ll want to whip up a batch of these Cranberry Brie Bites. Easy, flavorful, and oh-so good, they’ll be the hit of the snack table!

I’m definitely one of those people who talks about their fur baby way to much, but I don’t care ’cause I just love the little guy 🙂 That outfit must be ADORABLE! I can’t wait to see pics!! I think our fur baby has more clothes than me, lol 😀 Callie is going to steal the spotlight everywhere she goes, that’s for sure!
Now, these bites…these are too pretty Gayle! And I LOVE brie…..maybe a little too much, but it doesn’t matter ’cause it’s the holidays, right 😉 ? Hubby and I are hosting a family get together in just over a week and these would be a lovely addition to the menu. I love that it’s just 4 ingredients and can be whipped up in no time at all…I’m sure they will be the first to disappear. Pinned, of course. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!!

Ok glad you don’t mind, Dawn! I figured you wouldn’t since you have a fur baby, too! 🙂 Isn’t brie the best? I lose ALL self control around it, I just want to eat it ALL. Thanks for the kind words and pin, friend!

I used to ALWAYS dress Tater tot in clothes (my little dog who passed away), so I don’t judge! I think it’s cute!! I’d dress Dolce in clothes, but she’s too big.. womp womp. I hope you take pics of Callie in her holiday duds!! Anyways, love these bites!! It’s not the holidays without some brie and cranberries! Combining their yummy forces into one bite is heavenly!! Pinned! Cheers, Gayle!

Awww Callie is going to be the CUTEST! We’ve never really tried to dress up Bear, and if we tried I don’t think they make his size, haha! He would probably just tear it right off anyways. These Cranberry Brie Bites look sooo good though – and the perfect way to use the mint growing on my patio 🙂
