Are you a big dessert person? As in, do you need to have a little something sweet after dinner to balance out all of the savory foods? I never used to be a dessert lover, but now that I’ve gotten older, my tastes have changed. Maybe it’s due to wisdom, maybe it’s due to old age (ok, so I’m not really that old), or maybe it has to do with the fact that the hubster needs his sweet treat every night.
I’ve mentioned before that the hubster has a big sweet tooth for ice cream. He practically eats some every night, and if he doesn’t, I immediately know that either we ran out of ice cream, or he’s indulging in another kind of dessert. So it’s safe to say that some of his dessert-loving mannerisms have rubbed off on me.
While I don’t reach for ice cream every night, I do like to indulge in an end-of-the-night treat. And because I’m trying to eat on the healthier side, ice cream and donuts are often off limits.
So when I was shopping at Walmart last week, I got the brilliant idea to make an easy, healthier dessert for the hubster and I. After reaching for my favorite fall-inspired yogurt, Dannon® Greek Yogurt Oikos® Light & Fit® Caramel Apple Pie Yogurt, I reached for some Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust and Reddi-wip®. These are some of my favorite kitchen ingredients and I couldn’t wait to whip up an easy fall dessert.
With just a few simple ingredients, these Mini Caramel Apple Yogurt Pies come together in no time and serve as a healthier treat. Filled with Dannon® Greek Yogurt Oikos® Light & Fit® Caramel Apple Pie Yogurt, fresh apple chunks, and a cinnamon swirl, these pies make the perfect fall dessert.
Besides satisfying your sweet tooth, these Mini Caramel Apple Yogurt Pies take just minutes to whip. And that means you’re less than 5 minutes away from indulging in a healthier dessert that’s perfect to fulfill your fall cravings. Sounds pretty good, right?
To assemble these mini pies, you’ll first start with a few of the Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust. It’s a pre-made crust, in mini form, and is the perfect base for this dessert. Then, add in some yogurt and fold in fresh apple chunks. And to top it off, add in a swirl of caramel cinnamon sauce and top with some creamy Reddi-wip®.
The results? A creamy, healthy, flavorful pie that just ready to be devoured. These Mini Caramel Apple Yogurt Pies contain healthier ingredients that serve as both a dessert and healthy treat.
Bursting with a fresh graham cracker crust and creamy caramel apple flavoring, these pies are perfect for when you want an easy and delicious sweet treat!
