It’s peanut butter jelly time!

Anyone remember that song? Or maybe this song…”Peanut butter, peanut butter…and jelly! First you take the knife and you spread it, spread it…”

Ok, enough of the corny songs this morning, but I thought that was a good opener since I’m sharing this Peanut Butter and jelly Granola Smoothie with you today.

But, before we dive into that, did I tell you that I started taking Pure Barre classes? I mentioned a while ago that I was thinking of starting, so I finally took the plunge and went for it. I have to say that I’m hooked and it’s such a great way to get into shape. I’ve been trying to go 3-4 times a week, and I love how energized (and sore!) I feel after my class.

I have to admit that I was nervous to try Pure Barre before I started, mainly because the class sizes are small, everyone knows each other, and I heard that the workouts are intense (that is SO true). But, I had to get out of my comfort zone and just go for it. And it’s been so worth it! I often have trouble keeping a consistent workout schedule because the gym is just so boring, but with Pure Barre, I actually look forward to going to class.

Filled with frozen strawberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy granola, this smoothie is ready just minutes and is perfect to serve for just about any meal!

And that reminds me of my school days. Sometimes, I would get nervous starting a new grade or a new school, but I just had to dive in. I really didn’t have a choice. And once I was there, I was fine and enjoyed it.

Even now, I’ve been trying to focus on starting my day with a breakfast that will set the tone. You know, one that gets me off to an energized and positive start. And that’s where Jimmy Dean® Croissant Sausage Egg Cheese. It’s made from real ingredients (real sausage, eggs, and cheese) and is a satisfying breakfast that can be ready in three minutes.

So when I was shopping at Meijer last week, I stocked up on Jimmy Dean® Croissant Sausage Egg Cheese and State Fair® Corn Dogs. They’re the perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner options to keep me fueled all day long. This is also perfect for back-to-school season, as these foods are easy to make and even better to eat!

Which brings me to this Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Smoothie. I like to have a protein-filled dish when it comes to meals, so I decided to whip up a nutritious smoothie.

This Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Smoothie is thick, creamy, and packed with a classic peanut butter and jelly taste, in drink form. Filled with frozen strawberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy granola, this smoothie is ready just minutes and is perfect to serve for just about any meal!

Filled with frozen strawberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy granola, this smoothie is ready just minutes and is perfect to serve for just about any meal!

And you know I’m all about the smoothies! From this Raspberry Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl, to that Banana Bread Smoothie, and this Blueberry Blast Smoothie, I love experimenting with new flavors. And since I’m trying to stay in the habit of exercising and eating better, this smoothie definitely fit the bill.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are still a favorite of mine, so I decided to take my love for this classic dish and put it into drink form. And to add the finishing touch, I topped it with some crunch granola. Sounds pretty good, right?

And besides the sweet and delicious, taste, this Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Smoothie is so easy to whip up! Simply combine some frozen strawberries, a frozen, sliced banana, Greek yogurt, milk, peanut butter, and granola into the canister of a blender and blend away.

Pour into a glass, top with extra peanut butter and granola, and be prepared to wow your taste buds. The sweet strawberry flavors acts as the jelly, while the peanut butter, and granola add a milder taste. One sip and you’ll be transported back to your school days.

So if you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner that’s packed with protein, pick up some Jimmy Dean® Croissant Sausage Egg Cheese and State Fair® Corn Dogs and make this Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola Smoothie. It’s perfect for back-to-school time, workout time, and any other time!
