Pizza Skillet Nachos
These Pizza Skillet Nachos are packed with two kinds of cheese, hearty pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, and green peppers. Filled with classic pizza toppings, this is the perfect snack to munch on while relaxing on game day!
Football is officially back in session, and you know what that means…the games are blasting on my TV every week. The hubster is a football fanatic. Let me rephrase, he’s a sports fanatic and pretty much knows everything about every major sport out there. If you’ve got a question about sports, chances are the hubster knows it.
Now let’s talk about me…football is kinda-sorta a snoozefest for me. And no offense to those who love it! But I’ve never really been able to understand the sport, so my attention span isn’t the greatest. I do loving going to sporting events, though. I love the atmosphere, food, and drinks. And people-watching is always a blast, too.
But, back to the food. Although I don’t watch much football this time of year, I always like to make some tasty snacks for the hubster and I to eat during a game. The food captures my attention and let’s me sit in front of the TV just a little bit longer.
These Pizza Skillet Nachos are packed with two kinds of cheese, hearty pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, and green peppers. Filled with classic pizza toppings, this is the perfect snack to munch on while relaxing on game day!
The prep time for these Pizza Skillet Nachos couldn’t get any easier! Simply add some tortilla chips to a nine inch cast iron skillet or about 4 mini cast iron skillets. Top the chips with pepperoni, black olives, green peppers, and diced tomato. Sprinkle a good handful of shredded cheese on top and pop the skillet(s) into the oven until the cheese gets all ooey-goeey and melty.
Once you dig into these Pizza Skillet Nachos, prepare to be amazed.
The toppings blend perfectly together, giving this snack a delicious crunch, full of cheesy goodness.
With minimal prep work, you can have this snack ready to be devoured in less than twenty minutes. And that’s a game day winner in my book!

Such cute little nacho skillets! I’m a big fan of anything in a cute little skillet with melted cheese!
Anything with melted cheese is my favorite, too!
These nachos look super cheap and easy to make, and even a pizza is 20 bucks these days and usually arrives a little cold and not so appetizing on game day due to all the deliveries the pizza boy (actually it’s a pizza girl) where I live. 5 minutes prep time? How can I beat that. Can’t. And football. Ugh. I’m trying to love it but end up just falling asleep.
Thanks for the kind words, Laura! These nachos are definitely perfect for game day, especially if you’re trying to distract yourself from falling asleep! 🙂
So with you on the big games being a total snoozefest! Just gimme the snacks and that’s all I need to entertain myself right?? Like these nachos maybe?! Seriously SO genius to throw all the pizza things into one gorgeous plate of nacho-y goodness!
Yes! Snacks always make game days better. Thanks so much for the nacho love, Sarah!
That is a game day winner! Loving the presentation in those cute little skillets! I know it’s only breakfast time, but I’d devour this right now!
I think this counts as breakfast, right?! 🙂 Thanks, Annie!

This is the perfect snack to munch on! Thanks, Katalina!
I freely admit it – I am totally into football because of the snacks. Well, except for the Clemson Tigers – I actually watch those games and cheer loudly – but they would be even better with a dish of pizza skillet nachos in front of me!
Snacks definitely make football better! 🙂 Thanks for the kind words, Kate!
I’m not a big fan of football, but I am a HUGE fan of football food! What’s better than pizza than pizza nachos. And love that you made them in a little skillet, so cute!
Thanks, Natalie! Pizza and pizza nachos definitely make a great combo!
these look so yummy! I totally agree, it’s the food which interests me more than the game, always!
Yes! Hooray for game day food! 🙂

The perfect game day snack!! I love this idea, and I know that the football (and nacho)-loving men in my house would love it as well. 🙂
Thank you, Blair! These nachos were definitely a hit with my husband!
Oh this is perfect snack food, game day, or otherwise! I’d much rather be snacking on these and scrolling thru pinterest than watching a ballgame, so it’s good to have such good snack food.
I love your thinking, Amber! Pinterest and nachos definitely make game days better! 🙂
I love anything in little skillets! [client]

Yay for football season being back in! I’m a football fanatic and if there’s a game, it’s on TV in our house. This would be one delicious snack to enjoy while watching the game! The game is always so much better with good food. 🙂
You are definitely similar to my husband, Marcie…he’s the exact same way with football (and baseball, basketball and hockey haha)! This snack is definitely perfect for game days!
Yesss, food is definitely the best part of football Sundays. I LOVE these pizza nachos! Totally making these asap! Pinned 🙂
Thanks for the nacho love and pin, Michelle!
I’ve done this very thing, but even easier, is to use freshly made pico de gallo, that is also found at w/mart…just another Mexican food junkie.
Pico de gallo is a great idea, Rita! Thanks for sharing and stopping by!
My mouth watering looking the pictures, Gayle! I’m always ready to try new ways to entertain for game day! This skillet is just perfect!
Thank you, Savita!
Best of all (for me) is they are gluten free (just make sure you buy gluten free chips which are readily available).
That’s a great point, Betty Ann! Thanks for stopping by!
