Football is officially back in session, and you know what that means…the games are blasting on my TV every week. The hubster is a football fanatic. Let me rephrase, he’s a sports fanatic and pretty much knows everything about every major sport out there. If you’ve got a question about sports, chances are the hubster knows it.

Now let’s talk about me…football is kinda-sorta a snoozefest for me. And no offense to those who love it! But I’ve never really been able to understand the sport, so my attention span isn’t the greatest. I do loving going to sporting events, though. I love the atmosphere, food, and drinks. And people-watching is always a blast, too.

These Pizza Skillet Nachos are packed with two kinds of cheese, hearty pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, and green peppers. Filled with classic pizza toppings, this is the perfect snack to munch on while relaxing on game day!

But, back to the food. Although I don’t watch much football this time of year, I always like to make some tasty snacks for the hubster and I to eat during a game. The food captures my attention and let’s me sit in front of the TV just a little bit longer.

These Pizza Skillet Nachos are packed with two kinds of cheese, hearty pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, and green peppers. Filled with classic pizza toppings, this is the perfect snack to munch on while relaxing on game day!

The prep time for these Pizza Skillet Nachos couldn’t get any easier! Simply add some tortilla chips to a nine inch cast iron skillet or about 4 mini cast iron skillets. Top the chips with pepperoni, black olives, green peppers, and diced tomato. Sprinkle a good handful of shredded cheese on top and pop the skillet(s) into the oven until the cheese gets all ooey-goeey and melty.

Once you dig into these Pizza Skillet Nachos, prepare to be amazed.

The toppings blend perfectly together, giving this snack a delicious crunch, full of cheesy goodness.

With minimal prep work, you can have this snack ready to be devoured in less than twenty minutes. And that’s a game day winner in my book!

These nachos look super cheap and easy to make, and even a pizza is 20 bucks these days and usually arrives a little cold and not so appetizing on game day due to all the deliveries the pizza boy (actually it's a pizza girl) where I live. 5 minutes prep time? How can I beat that. Can't. And football. Ugh. I'm trying to love it but end up just falling asleep.

I freely admit it - I am totally into football because of the snacks. Well, except for the Clemson Tigers - I actually watch those games and cheer loudly - but they would be even better with a dish of pizza skillet nachos in front of me!
