Switch up your breakfast or snack routine with this easy Raspberry Jam Quinoa Parfait. Layers of vanilla Greek yogurt, protein-packed quinoa, and homemade raspberry chia jam make a deliciously simple and nutritious dish for when you want something on the healthier side!
I was watching an old episode of The Kitchen on Food Network a few weeks ago and they had a segment where the chefs talked about foods they were over (or tired of), and foods they still couldn’t get enough of.
And that got me thinking about quinoa. It seems to be all the rage still, even though it first became most popular (at least in my mind) several years ago.
So tell me, are you over quinoa, or are you still going strong with this grain?
I, for one, am a quinoa lover for life. I love adding it to bowls, salads, and even breakfast dishes. It’s full of nutrition, easy to make, and extremely versatile.
And after making this Raspberry Chia Jam and wanting to add it to just about everything, I decided it would make the perfect addition to this Raspberry Jam Quinoa Parfait.

This parfait combines all of my current obsessions: vanilla Greek yogurt (I practically eat it every day), Raspberry Chia Jam (please tell me you’re going to make this soon?), and quinoa. And with just three ingredients (three!), you can have this dish ready in just minutes.
The raspberry jam gives this dish a hint of sweetness and a pretty pop of color, while the creamy Greek yogurt and hearty quinoa add the perfect texture (and taste).
I like to prepare a few of these Raspberry Jam Quinoa Parfaits on Sunday and then have them ready to devour for breakfast or an afternoon snack throughout the week. It’s full of protein, nutrients, and has the perfect amount of flavor to satisfy my sweet tooth.
So what are you waiting for? If you’re looking for a new spin on breakfast, this Raspberry Jam Quinoa Parfait will hit the spot!

This is so beautiful, Gayle! I love quinoa too and will never tire of it. So healthy and I’ve yet to have for breakfast; that needs to change! I love all foods. Though, there was a couple of times that I was on a real seaweed salad kick and I bought a couple of big tubs consecutively at Costco and got soooooo sick of it. Still, today, I can’t think of eating it. Give me a while and I’ll be ok, but I just ate way to much. I guess too much of a good thing isn’t good, right 😉 ? Pinning this, though, and will be trying soon. Have a lovely weekend, my friend!
Thank you for the quinoa love and pin, Dawn! I think you’ll love quinoa for breakfast, it’s a nice change from oatmeal! I’ve never tried seaweed salad before, but I know the feeling of never being able to look at a certain food again! 🙂
Gayle, this quinoa is looking mighty good! and loved that you paired it with raspberry chia jam, I love raspberries. I admit I have never tried sweets with quinoa, but this recipe sure gives me courage to do it! Have a great weekend
Thank you, Gaila! I think you would love this, it really gives quinoa such a great flavor. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, too!

Thanks for the quinoa love, Cheyanne!
I’m definitely not over quinoa, but I used to cook with it more often. These parfaits look amazing! Great use of the chia jam. Going to try it soon!
Thanks, Mira! Jam and quinoa make the perfect pair! 🙂

This is totally my kind of breakfast! I love to use leftover quinoa in parfaits like this because I always seem to cook too much quinoa for dinner. The overnight parfait is the perfect solution. Your raspberry version looks amazing!
Thanks, Blair! You are so right, I always make too much quinoa for dinner recipes, too!

I’m still happily enjoying quinoa! I was kind of hoping it’d turn into a staple… ya know, gently transitioning outta “trendy” mode. Meanwhile, I was SO hoping you’d add your jam to all the things!! I love how, when you create a great basic recipe, you can just start adding it to everything! This jam looks so gorgeous in the delicious parfait. Those layers though!! Wishing you an awesome weekend ahead!
Thanks for the sweet comment, Demeter! Hope you have a great weekend, too!
I am definitely riding the quinoa train for life! I love it but have yet to have it for breakfast… This looks irresistible! I’d like to add that raspberry jam to everything too!
Yes to quinoa for life! Thanks for the quinoa love, Annie!
I’ve loved quinoa for a longggg time now, too, and don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it! It’s so perfect when you want a carb, but still want to be healthy. I LOVE this parfait… It’s such a pretty color and sounds sooo tasty!
Yes! I love quinoa for those same reasons. Thanks, Sues!

I would love all the textures here! I go through love-hate phases with quinoa but here it’s most definitely staying on the love side 😉
Thanks, Bianca! This is a great way to jazz up plain quinoa!

A quinoa parfait?! I freaking love this! What a great idea!!!
It always makes me laugh when chefs or magazines say what foods are no longer hot. When I like things I like them…I don’t care about trends! Quinoa will always be a staple in my pantry and I love breakfast versions. This parfait is so pretty and it’s going on my must-make list!
You’re rights, trends don’t matter at all! Thanks for the quinoa love, Marcie!
Kate @ Framed Cooks says
You know, I think quinoa is making a comeback – and I think it needs to start with this recipe! It has never occurred to me to go the sweet route with it instead of savory, but this looks all kinds of delicious!
Thanks, Kate! I feel like quinoa will be around forever!

Using quinoa in a parfait is healthy. I like the layers you created so much! This can be used for breakfast, not just dessert.
Thanks for the sweet comment and for stopping by, Leo! This is definitely perfect for breakfast…that’s how I eat it! 🙂
