I’ve got a serious weakness for any kind of fruit cobbler or crisp, and I will take a fruit dessert over a chocolate one any day of the week. Yes, you heard right. I’m all about the fruit!

In fact, growing up, I would also request pie (specifically peach pie) for my birthday. None of that cake piled high with frosting! I was (am still am) obsessed with fruit desserts. Especially cobblers and crisps.

Now, fresh peach cobbler is one of my favorite desserts. I’d probably rank it as my second favorite dessert of all time (right after creme brulee).

I love the sweetness of the peaches and the texture and flavor of the crispy topping. It just gets me every time, especially when it’s warm from the oven (or in this case, slow cooker) with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Just thinking about this dessert has me feeling all warm and cozy. It’s like the perfect comfort dessert…am I right?

Cobbler in a slow cooker….could it get any better?

This Crock Pot peach cobbler is everything. The juicy peaches, the sweetness from the brown sugar, and the warm hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Plus, the cobbler topping is cakey, yet slightly crisp, and has just the right amount of flavor. Top this with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, an this is what dreams are made of, friends!

And I won’t judge if you have a bowl (or three) of this for breakfast. It also makes the most delicious dessert for the start of summer, too! So grab those ingredients, fire up your slow cooker, and whip up this easy and oh-so tasty dessert today!

Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler Ingredients

This is a super simple peach cobbler with minimal ingredients. I took a few shortcuts — namely, making this a Bisquick peach cobbler recipe with fresh peaches — but trust me, this peach dessert is to die for!

Here’s what you’ll need to make slow cooker peach cobbler:

  • Peaches
  • Light brown sugar
  • Ground cinnamon and nutmeg
  • Bisquick
  • Granulated sugar
  • Vanilla bean paste
  • Milk (any kind)

Can I Use Frozen Peaches?

Yes, either fresh or frozen peaches will work for this Bisquick peach cobbler recipe. If making a fresh peach cobbler, you’ll need to peel the peaches beforehand.

Can This Recipe Be Made with Canned Peaches?

Yes, you may make the slow cooker peach cobbler with canned peaches as well. Try to buy peaches packed in water or their own juice, rather than peaches packed in syrup.

How to Make Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler

I couldn’t make this fresh peach cobbler any easier if I tried! Here’s how I like to make this slow cooker peach cobbler at home:

  1. Toss together the peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Mix together the cobbler topping ingredients. Spread evenly over peaches.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Can I Use Another Type of Fruit?

You’re probably fine to use another type of fruit, but you’d likely want to use a softer fruit since peaches are quite soft to begin with. I imagine another stone fruit or berries would work in place of the peaches, but I can’t say for sure!

Can I Double This Recipe?

Yes, you should be fine to double this recipe. Make sure your Crock Pot is big enough to hold all the ingredients. Also, you may need to increase the cook time slightly for the Crock Pot peach cobbler.

Can I Make This Recipe in the Oven?

I bet you could, but I’ve only made it as a Crock Pot cobbler so I can’t give exact baking times or temperatures.

Tips for Making Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler

  • This easy peach cobbler with fresh peaches is delicious when warmed up, or can even be enjoyed at room temperature. And it’s easy to double or triple, depending on those hungry house guests.
  • Be sure to line the edges of your slow cooker with paper towels before closing the lid. This will prevent any condensation from leaking into the Crock Pot peach cobbler.
  • Note that leftover cobbler can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days. Leftovers can be frozen, but note that the peaches may change texture when frozen.
