White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn is an easy treat that’s perfect for the holidays!

White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn is an easy treat that's perfect for the holidays! #popcorn #whitechocolate #whitechocolatepopcorn #candycane #candycanepopcorn #holidaysnack #christmasappetizer

Are you the type of person that’s been in the holiday spirit for weeks now? Or maybe not until it gets closer to Christmas? We’re only three days into December and I’m already in full holiday mode. My decorations are up, the tree is lit, and I’ve been listening to Christmas music for the past few weeks.

A radio station in my area always plays Christmas music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, starting in November.

Some say that may be too early (especially the hubster), but I gladly tune in my car radio to that station whenever I’m driving to work or running errands. It always puts me in a better mood and causes me to sing along (although not very well) with the radio as I drive.

And with the cold weather starting early this year, I’ve been wanting to snuggle up with a mug of my delicious hot chocolate (recipe coming Friday), my electric throw blanket, and this White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn to munch on.

This White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn is coated with white chocolate and tossed with candy cane Oreos and candy cane kisses to provide a tasty snack.

Whether you’re a peppermint lover or not, this festive snack will knock your socks off!

Popcorn, coated with creamy white chocolate and tossed with mini candy cane Oreos and candy cane Hershey kisses provides a tasty snack. Perfect to eat while watching Christmas movies, gazing at the tree, or to serve at a holiday party.

Since the holidays are in full force, I was able to break out the peppermint candy and whip up a batch of this White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn. And while popcorn isn’t just a seasonal treat, the decadent white chocolate and peppermint Oreos and Hershey kisses really jazz up this classic treat.

This White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn is coated with white chocolate and tossed with candy cane Oreos and candy cane kisses to provide a tasty snack.

And like most of my recipes, this popcorn is so easy to make!

Simply melt some white chocolate (I used white chocolate melting wafers from Ghirardelli) and pour it over the popcorn. Lightly toss to combine and then add in some red food coloring. Once everything is mixed in, gently fold in the oreos.

Spread the popcorn out onto a large baking tray lined with parchment paper and allow to set for at least 20 minutes. Once the white chocolate is hardened, break up the pieces and add in the candy cane Hershey kissed. Easy peasy!

Once you taste this White Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn, I guarantee you’ll fall in love with this festive mix! The white chocolate makes this treat irresistible, along with the candy cane add-ins. Perfect to munch on while watching your favorite Christmas shows or to serve at a holiday party , you’ll be whipping this treat up all season long!

We have a radio station that does the same thing, Gayle. It's so cheery! And my husband also complains. This popcorn looks amazing. So beautiful! I'm not even a mint person, but I want to eat this!

Thanks, Mir! The only peppermint flavor in here comes from the candy cane flavored oreos and hershey kisses. You could definitely leave that out and snack on this!

This is so easy Gayle and the presentation is lovely. Mint is my total weakness. My 4-year-old is looking over my shoulder asking me to make this =) Perfect for a quick snack for last minute guests too, you know, those people who just stop your house to say hi! This would be so easy to whip up!

Thanks, Karishma! I think this popcorn would work well as a gift, as long as you make it and give it away within the first three days. I've eaten this up to one week before and it's stayed fresh. So if you give it as a gift right after you make it, it will give the people you give this to a chance to enjoy it. It's definitely a great holiday treat! And thanks for letting me know about the videos, Dannii! I had that fixed so hopefully it won't be an issue next time.

That popcorn is so pretty Gayle! I love peppermint anything and popcorn is definitely my weakness - I would love to have a bowl of that right now! Also, I love having the Christmas music on as early as possible too, but my husband isn't a fan of Christmas in November either!

Thank you, Stacey! This is my new favorite way to eat popcorn, especially with all of the peppermint treats swirled in! And I would've had our Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving if my husband would've let me! :)

Oooh yes, I sure am in holiday mode already! Tree goes up on Saturday and can't wait ;-) Now if only I had a bowl of this to keep my company while putting up those decorations. These sound just delicious, Gayle. Love those Candy cane kisses!

I rarely listen to the radio, so I am safe. What a FUN popcorn version. I would have never thought of this in a million years. Well done.

I can finally say I'm getting into the holiday spirit! Mostly in the kitchen, I did dig out some decorations but haven't had time to put them up. And I'm not sure if we're going to put up our tree this year (we are celebrating Christmas at my parent's place anyways), because I am SCARED what my one-year old will do to it! This popcorn looks dangerously good, Gayle! I think it would be the hit at any holiday party :)

I'm glad you're getting into the holiday spirit, Denise! And I totally understand about not putting up your tree with a one-year old running around! You would probably be picking up broken ornaments and such! Thanks so much for the popcorn love!

I am *the* biggest radio sing-a-longer, Gayle! Only when I'm by myself though. ;) This popcorn seriously looks incredible. I'm a huge fan of moose munch so this is exactly the snack I'd love for the holiday season. Pinning!
