Ingredients

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¾ cups old-fashioned oats
  • Dash of salt
  • 3 MorningStar Farms® Original Sausage Patties
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add oats, a dash of salt, and stir.
  • Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until oats are soft and most of the liquid is absorbed. Set aside.
  • Cook MorningStar Farms® Sausage Patties according to package directions. Set aside.
  • In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Fry or cook eggs until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Pour oatmeal into a bowl. Top with MorningStar Farms® Sausage Patties, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Serve immediately.
