Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Dash of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat egg white until frothy. Add almonds and stir to coat. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, stir together white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add sugar mixture to almonds and toss to coat.
  • Spread almonds in an even layer on prepared baking pan. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until almonds are lightly toasted.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely.
