This Easy Basil Pesto combines fresh basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, garlic cloves, pine nuts, and olive oil. It's a simple sauce that comes together in minutes and is perfect for serving with pasta, bread, chicken, and a variety of other dishes!

3 cups fresh basil leaves stems removed ¼ cup pine nuts ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 3 garlic cloves Salt and pepper to taste ½ cup olive oil
Get Recipe Ingredients
In the bowl of food processor, add the basil and pine nuts. Pulse several times until combined. Scrape the sides of bowl, if needed.
Add Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pulse until it comes together.
Slowly add in olive oil while processor is running. Scrape down sides of bowl, if needed.
Store in an airtight container or jar in the refrigerator for up to one week (or the freezer for up to two months).
