This Berry Skillet Cobbler contains fresh strawberries and juicy blueberries that are combined with a hint of sweetness and baked with a brown sugar topping. It's easy to prepare and is bursting with fresh flavors!
In medium bowl, combine the strawberries, blueberries, lemon juice and sugar. Spread onto the bottom of 8 (3.5 inch) skillets or one 12 inch skillet/casserole dish. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and almond extract until smooth. Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture until combined. Mixture will be crumbly.
Drop mixture by the spoonful (you may need to pat mixture with your hands to form a ball) onto the berries.
Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until topping is lightly browned. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
