These Easy Bunny Print Cookies are a fun and festive way to celebrate Easter. By using store-bought sugar cookies and just a few ingredients, this simple treat is perfect for everyone!

Ingredients

  • cups shredded coconut (divided into ½ cup portions)
  • Food coloring (if desired)
  • 12 prepared sugar cookies (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 (16 ounce) container vanilla frosting
  • Sprinkles
  • 12 white candy melt wafers
  • 36 mini white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • To prepare the colored coconut: Place ½ cup coconut and desired food coloring in a food processor and alternate using the pulse and grind settings until the coconut is finely chopped and has reached desired color. Repeat to make 3 different colors , if desired). Set aside in three small bowls.
  • Spread each cookie evenly with frosting. Dip each frosted cookie into prepared coconut and top with sprinkles.
  • Place a candy wafer in the middle of each cookie and use 3 chocolate chips for the toes. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Cookies will keep in  an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
  • This recipe can be made with store-bought sugar cookies or a homemade version (try these sugar cookie bars but cut into cookies instead).
  • You can use frosting for the paw prints instead of wafers and/or chocolate chips, if desired.
