Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper , to taste
  • 5 ounces pepperoni , quartered
  • cups beef broth
  • cups milk (I used 1%)
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni , uncooked
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Parsley, for garnish (if desired)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown and crumble ground beef until no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet.
  • Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, pepperoni, beef broth, milk, tomato sauce, and macaroni. Bring mixture to a boil. Then, cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

Notes

Looking to add more pizza flair to this recipe? Try swapping out the ground beef for mild Italian sausage, add in green peppers, or swap out the tomato sauce for marinara sauce.
