Air Fryer French Toast

Air Fryer French Toast is a quick and easy breakfast that cooks in minutes and comes out perfectly golden every time. With simple ingredients and no stovetop required, this method creates crisp edges, a soft center, and consistent results!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk, any kind (I used 2%)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 8 slices thick bread, such as Texas toast or brioche

Instructions

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 370℉ (if your model has this option).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk milk, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture and lightly press down to coat both sides. Let excess drip off before placing into the air fryer basket.
  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or spray well with cooking spray. Place each slice in an even, single layer in basket, leaving a little space between each slice. You will most likely need to work in batches, as my model fit 4 slices per batch.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, remove basket and flip each slice of bread, and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown. Serve immediately with butter and/or maple syrup, if desired.
