This Baked Parmesan Crusted Chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and made with simple pantry ingredients. Tender chicken breasts are coated in a buttery parmesan panko crust and baked until golden and crunchy. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that perfect for everyone!
2-3boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half lengthwise to form 4-6 pieces)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400℉. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Add melted butter to a small bowl or shallow dish. In another bowl or shallow dish, add breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and stir well to combine.
Dip chicken pieces into melted butter, coating on each side. Then dunk chicken pieces into breadcrumb mixture, coating each side. Places pieces onto prepared baking pan.
Spray the tops of chicken pieces lightly with cooking spray (this will help achieve that golden color). Bake for 10 minutes, flip each piece, and continue baking 8-10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove from oven and let sit for several minutes before serving. This will help the chicken retain that juicy texture.
