Fudgy Skillet Cookie
This Fudgy Skillet Cookie recipe is an easy dessert that features a layer of rich, hot fudge between layers of chocolate chip cookie dough.
Servings: 6 servings
- 1 package (16 ounces) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce
- Vanilla ice cream for topping , if desired
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In four small cast iron skillets or one medium skillet, crumble half the package of cookie dough into small pieces, spreading in an even layer over bottom of skillet(s).
Drizzle hot fudge sauce over cookie dough. Crumble remaining cookie dough on top of hot fudge, making sure to spread in an even layer.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until top is golden brown and set. Remove skillet(s) from oven and allow to cool slightly.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and extra hot fudge sauce, if desired.
