Here’s what you will need to make it:
- Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix
- Cold water
- Baking powder
- Vanilla extract
- Mashed banana
- Milk chocolate chips
How to Make Banana Sheet Pan Pancakes
Making pancakes for a crowd just got easier, these banana chocolate chip sheet pan pancakes are simple to prep, bake all at once, and come out perfectly light and fluffy every time.
Here’s how it done:
- Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, add pancake mix, cold water, baking powder, vanilla extract, mashed banana, and chocolate chips. Stir until just combined and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Pour into prepared pan and lightly spread with a spatula to ensure it evenly coats the entire pan.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the center is firm. Cut into slices and garnish with additional bananas and serve with syrup, if desired.

How to Freeze Pancakes
To freeze these sheet pan pancakes from a mix, let cool completely and then slice into squares. Freeze the squares on a baking tray, then transfer to a freezer bag once hardened.

- 1⅓ cups cold water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ripe banana, , mashed
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- Sliced banana and maple syrup for topping, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, add pancake mix, cold water, baking powder, vanilla extract, mashed banana, and chocolate chips. Stir until just combined and let sit for 2 minutes.

These pancakes were really good, a departure from my usual spicy breakfasts. I was not sure about chocolate in my pancakes si ce I don’t have any little ones, but this allowed me to use some chocolate chips I had not used & an aging banana. They were a big hit with my desert lover hubby & adult son.
