Ingredients:
You’ll only need a handful of simple ingredients to make this decadent baked brie. With fresh apple, buttery brown sugar, and a drizzle of caramel over creamy brie, every bite is rich, warm, and perfectly sweet.
- Wheel of brie
- Unsalted butter
- Medium apple
- Light brown sugar
- Caramel sauce
How to make Caramel Apple Baked Brie:
- To start, I like to let the brie come to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes before baking, although this is completely optional. This will help the baked brie to cook more evenly.
- Cut the top of the rind off the brie, so the thin paper is gone and the brie is exposed.
- Place brie onto a small pan lined with parchment paper. Bake until cheese is starting to melt, but not oozing out of the holder.
- It’s important to watch the brie closely, because if it melts too much, it will turn into a big fat (but delicious) blog when transferring to a serving dish.
- As the brie is baking, sauté a chopped apple in a mixture of butter and brown sugar, until apples are tender. Drizzle some caramel sauce into the mix for an extra boost of flavor.
- Once the brie is ready, slide it from the pan (the parchment paper helps for easy transfer) onto a serving dish or board. Top with the sautéed apples and extra caramel sauce.
How to Serve:
- Serve brie on a platter or cutting board and garnish with extra caramel sauce.
- Sliced apples, pita chips, graham crackers and pretzels make the perfect dipping choices.
Baked brie with apples just screams fall and deliciousness, friends. Once you smell the apples cooking and see the ooey gooey cheese bubbling, you’ll be wowed at the ease of this decadent recipe.
It’s the perfect appetizer for those last minute parties or get-togethers, too!

Caramel Apple Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 8 ounce wheel of brie
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 medium apple, chopped
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus more for topping, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F. Line a small baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cut the top of the rind off brie and plate onto prepared pan. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until cheese is warm and starts to melt, but is not oozing out. It's important to watch this because if the cheese melts too much, it will become a big blog when transferring to a serving dish.
- While brie is baking, in a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped apples and brown sugar. Mix and saute until apples are tender, about 6-7 minutes. Drizzle caramel sauce over apple mixture and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- Once brie is ready, slide it from the pan to a serving platter or board. The parchment paper will help the brie slide out easily.
- Spoon apple mixture over the top of brie, and garnish with extra caramel sauce.
- Serve immediately with apple slices, pita chips, graham crackers, or pretzels.
